Harnessing the Power of the Immune System to Fight Cancer

This workshop will cover the basics on cellular and immunotherapies to fight blood cancers and beyond. Within the past decade we have seen revolutionary advancements in the treatment of cancers, especially advanced blood cancers, through the development of therapies that redirect and reprogram immune cells to seek and destroy the cancer cells. These include chimeric antigen receptor T cells (aka CAR T cells), bispecific antibodies, and more. We will discuss the different therapies, their indications, and what to expect before, during, and after receiving those treatments.

This is a hybrid program. Join in person at CSC or register to receive the Zoom link.

This workshop is presented by Dr. Scott Goldsmith, Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Hematology and HCT at City of Hope.
